Mike Lenard of Tailored Data Solutions is a key sponsor and will speak at the Executive Leaders Network, hosted by ExecLN, on Wednesday 15 November 2017. His talk, titled 'Guarantee YOU comply at all stages of the data journey' will consider GDPR compliance for businesses. In particular, Mike will talk about how businesses can map their existing data to guarantee compliance for processing, cleansing, storing and deleting historical and client data.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) deadline is just around the corner and it is vital that companies of all sizes make sure that they understand the consequences. This event is designed to provide all businesses with a greater understanding of what the regulation means and will offer support with compliance. 

Companies in breach of GDPR are liable to significant fines up to twenty million euros or four per cent of annual worldwide turnover, whichever is the greater amount. Businesses need to be able to demonstrate their compliance and, as the UK will still be in the European Union when the GDPR comes into force, Brexit doesn't affect the need to comply. 

Key questions that will be addressed at the event will include: How will GDPR affect your business? What policies should you have in place for your Security department? What policies should you have in place in your IT, Marketing and HR departments?
