DogFit launch British manufactured canicross kit 

Canicross experts, DogFit, have announced the launch of their latest running waist belt and lines, designed and produced entirely in the UK. 

Canicross is the sport of hands-free, off-road running with a dog. It’s a fun and social activity that’s enjoyed all year round, a great way to get fit and one of the fastest growing sports in the UK.

DogFit are one of the first canicross equipment sellers in the UK to design and develop their own branded range of kit, from their new and exclusive waist belt to their collection of bungee lines – perfect for fun, social runs or for taking part in more formal events.

The new belt is lightweight, practical and durable, and features a large enough pocket for storage of a mobile phone and keys.

The new range of DogFit bungee lines feature a handle at both ends. This has been specially designed to enable owners to have more control when needed and in a safe way for their dogs.

Gail Walker, co-founder of DogFit, said that the new line of canicross equipment was the result of a long and careful development process:

We've worked closely with our manufacturer in the UK, a process which has been in development over the last twelve months. We went to the factory and went through the adjustments and design with the manufacturers. We had complete control over our products, and we've spent a huge amount of time testing the product to ensure it’s a high-end product and right for our customers."
