The finalists have been named for The Whitewed Directory Awards 2018. The 2018 awards saw an astonishing and overwhelming amount of entries from wedding suppliers across the South West.
Categories included: Business of the Year 2018, Most Inspiring Business Person of the Year 2018, Start-up Business of the Year 2018 and the Peers Award 2018.

The Peers Award is new award for 2018 and celebrates camaraderie between The Whitewed Directory members.
Over the last 4 years, The Whitewed Directory members base has grown, and so have the relationships within it. Many members recommend each other and are often delighted to find out they will be working with each other, as they know they’ll be working alongside a professional and quality peer. This award allowed Whitewed members to nominate their favourite!

The judging panel comprised of three highly respected industry professionals:
Sara Tye, award winning, top 500 international PR, business and organisational development expert and serial entrepreneur, Ian Larrard, Director of Business West in Swindon and Wiltshire, and Emma Richards, Sales Director of DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon.
Director of The Whitewed Directory, Natalie Lovett, said "The quality of the entries impressed the judges immensely by demonstrating business acumen, knowledge within their sector and a determination to succeed. There are so many deserving winners and it was a tough choice to select just three finalists per category. The Whitewed Directory, recognised as the home to the South West’s best wedding venues, suppliers and organisers, will stage the Awards event on 7th February 2019 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon, when the winners will be announced.
Covering 24 types of supplier, from bands and musicians to bridal studios and venues, The Whitewed Directory is renowned in the South West for delivering fully-vetted, approved and accredited wedding service companies.
