Television stars shine for Bartercard-supported, TreeAid anniversary dinner

Bartercard is proudly standing behind a 30th Anniversary dinner for the charity TreeAid, on 16 November 2017, hosted by television stars Alice Roberts and Paul Sinha.

Guests at the luxury event, held in Bristol, will celebrate three decades of environmental activism with an elegant dinner dance aboard the historical ship, the SS Great Britain.

Bartercard is partnering with the hard-working charity in recognition of their efforts in planting over 13 million trees in the drybeds of Africa since 1987. This task has improved the lives, knowledge and opportunities for over one million people, the organisation says.

The charity’s patron Professor Alice Roberts – known for heading up Channel 4’s archaeological show ‘Time Team’ and BBC2’s geography series ‘Coast' - will be hosting. She will be joined by mastermind and comedian Dr Paul Sinha from ITV gameshow ‘The Chase.’

The agenda on the night will include a champagne reception, private tours of the once record-breaking passenger steamship and time for professional portrait photography. A three-course dinner and wine will follow, as well as entertainment from Sinha. Guests will also be able to take him on and try to “beat the chaser” as so many others have attempted to do during his popular ITV quiz show.

Tickets for the dinner can be booked for £100 per person or £800 for a table which can accommodate eight. For more information or to RSVP, please contact 0117 909 6363 or clare.hanley-humphries@treeaid.org
