Local woman reflects on losing her mum this World Pancreatic Cancer Day
It's currently Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month and today is World Pancreatic Cancer Day.

To celebrate our awareness month, the following locations in Cheshire are lighting up purple on these dates:

Chester Newgate - 22nd - 24th November
Chester Town Hall - 22nd - 24th November
Chester Eastgate Clock - 22nd - 24th November
The Red Lion, Chester - 18th November

I'm also sharing with you the story of local woman Nicola who lost her mum Bea to pancreatic cancer in the press release attached.

When we started our awareness month in 2010, the 5-year survival rate was just 3%. Now, we are at almost 8% - proving that awareness raising does work!

I would love it if you'd be able to support us and share Nicola's story today and / or news of the Cheshire landmarks turning purple for World Pancreatic Cancer Day.

Kind regards,
Adele
