Middlesbrough is celebrating Pride with a series of events planned at the Dorman Museum and Middlesbrough Town Hall.
As part of the Dorman Museum's ‘Curious' series of events, the museum will have on display a collection of costumes on loan from Cherry Valentine.
Cherry, originally from Darlington, competed last year on Ru Paul's Drag Race UK and has since released two music tracks, appeared at various Pride events around the UK and is about to embark on a countrywide Halloween tour with some of the most well-known and outrageous UK queens.
The collection will be at the Dorman Museum until Monday, November 1.

They will be taking over the Dorman Museum on the evening of Friday, October 22 forA Curious Night at the Museum, with the help of a super group of LGBTQIA+ artists and performers.
Visitors can join Richard Bliss on his quest for the perfect shirt, strike a pose at a pop-up Voguing workshop and performance, and perform hits by their favourite queer icons on the ‘Drag-eoke'.
Workshops to create protest posters and tote bags are also on offer, as well as a queer retelling of Middlesbrough's histories through the museum's collection.
