FUN-FILLED AND CHILLED YOGA FOR KIDS

Children from across the Tees Valley can learn yoga poses and enjoy a chance to discover unseen objects from the Dorman Museum collections at Yoga Explorer sessions this summer.

Fun-filled and chilled classes, the sessions are run by Yoga Mike, an experienced yoga teacher, who works extensively with primary school children and is dedicated to improving children's mental health and wellbeing.

Yoga Explorers will run weekly on Thursdays throughout the summer holidays. The first session starts on Thursday, July 22 with Dinosaur Planet and the sessions end on Thursday, August 26 with a mystery theme that the children can choose.

As well as learning yoga poses through stories, songs and games, the children will also have the opportunity to explore the museum's collections based on the weekly adventure topics.

Sessions are available in two age groups: 5-7 (10am to 11.30am) and 8-11 (12.30pm to 2pm). Places are limited to 25 children per session. Prices are £7.50 for a single session or £30 discounted rate for the full 6 week bundle.

For more information about the weekly adventure themes and to book the sessions, visitwww.dormanmuseum.co.uk.
