Winn Solicitors Ltd., the one-stop shop for accident management services, announced that David Dewar will join the firm from today, 5thAugust 2019, in the new role of Head of Contested Litigation (Associate Director)with overall responsibility for Part 7, Fraud, Employee Liability, Public Liability and, in time, other areas of litigation.
David's past involvement in commercial and key decision-making at large practises around changes to the Personal Injury (PI) market and his knowledge in general and commercial litigation, a new area which Winns plan to expand into post reforms, make him the perfect complement to the current Winns team.
He has extensive litigation experience in all aspects of personal injury and general litigation as well as experience in all types and value of PI work. He has widespread industry knowledge and know how, including longstanding relationships with a number of barristers' chambers.
David is well-known and respected throughout the industry qualifying 15 years ago at Browell Smith & Co before moving to Ward Hadaway where he became a Partner. He joins Winns from his Partner role at Beecham Peacock where he is described as a ‘tough litigator with meticulous attention to detail.'
