East Yorkshire chicken business announced as a finalist in excellence in manufacturing awards

The team at Middleton on the Wolds business are celebrating after being shortlisted in theFood ManufactureExcellence Awards .

Soanes Poultry has been named as a finalist in the Meat, Poultry and Seafood Manufacturing Company of the Year categoryin the annual awards that celebrateoutstanding achievement within the UK's fast-growing food and drink industry.

The Yorkshire Wolds business faces stiff competition from fellow finalists including food processing giant, ABP; smoked salmon producer, John Ross Jr and family owned butcher, J.C Altham.

The winners will be revealed at an awards dinner at theLondon Hilton on Park Lane on Wednesday 7 November.
