IDEAL Networks Troubleshooting Tester Shortlisted for Industry Award

LanXPLORER PRO, the network troubleshooter from IDEAL Networks, has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Network Computing Awards 2018.

Following nominations from IDEAL Networks’ customers, the LanXPLORER PRO network troubleshooting tester is now in the running to win the Testing/Monitoring Product of the Year award.  Online voting is currently underway to determine the winner of this category, with votes closing on 13th March 2018.

LanXPLORER PRO is a hand-held tester for analysing and diagnosing problems in networks, cabling and Ethernet devices using copper, fibre and Wi-Fi interfaces. The network troubleshooter was upgraded in 2016 with enhanced network scanning capabilities and the ability to transfer test data to mobile devices using the IDEAL AnyWARE™ app.  These features, coupled with the choice of either in-line or end point modes, enable faster network diagnosis and help technicians to reduce delays and downtime.

“We’re delighted that LanXPLORER PRO is a finalist for the awards, especially as this is a result of nominations from customers,” says Tim Widdershoven, Global Marketing Manager for IDEAL Networks. “LanXPLORER PRO is designed to provide a cost-effective solution to help users overcome network troubleshooting challenges and reduce network downtime easily. Being shortlisted for this award reinforces that our customers are having a positive experience with this user-friendly tester.”

The Network Computing Awards give industry-wide recognition to the tools, solutions and products that support networks, as well as the people that design, install and maintain them.  The awards are based on customer feedback and votes from readers of Network Computing Magazine.

Winners of this year’s Network Computing Awards will be announced at a black-tie event at the Radisson Blu Edwardian, London, on 22nd March 2018.
