Press release - White collar boxing operator seeks promoters

White collar boxing operator seeks promoters for knockout business opportunity

Boxing enthusiasts around the UK are being offered the opportunity to build a business promoting white collar fights. Specialist events company LBM Boxing is looking for individuals to take on licences to operate its Zero2Hero programme in a range of local areas across the country.

Promoters will receive full training, along with back office and marketing support, to deliver high-quality white collar boxing events. They will need to work with local boxing gyms to ensure that fighters are fully prepared, as well as engaging with venues to put on the events themselves.

According to LBM Boxing, promoters can expect to make a profit in the region of £50,000 in their first year and upwards of £90,000 in their second year of operations.

Licences cost from £6,995 for one area, and an additional £3,000 for each extra area purchased by a promoter. LBM Boxing has engaged the national business transfer agent Blacks Business Brokers to market and handle the sale of these licences.

Anthony Meadowcroft, New Business Department Manager at Blacks Business Brokers, said, "This is a great opportunity for individuals with an interest in fitness and events management to acquire an ‘out-of-the-box' business opportunity and become their own boss.

"White collar boxing is really growing in popularity and, with people's thoughts turning to health and fitness in the New Year, this is an ideal time for would-be promoters to take on a rewarding new challenge themselves."

The LBM Boxing Zero2Hero programme gives fighters with no previous boxing experience the opportunity to train intensively over an eight-week period before taking part in a three-round bout against an opponent of a similar weight and standard. Participants each undertake to sell a minimum number of tickets to their bout, the proceeds from which contribute to the promoter's profit as well as raising money for LBM Boxing's nominated charity, the Lennox Children With Cancer Fund.

LBM Boxing operates nationwide from its head office in Southend-On-Sea, Essex. It aims offer regular white collar boxing events in every county of the UK within 24 months.

All enquiries should be made to Blacks Business Brokers on 0333 370 0000, quoting reference 6021.
