Having started paint production in a hen house on an old farm in Finland nearly 70 years ago, Teknos is at the National Painting and Decorating Show headlining its Futura Aqua joinery range, along with its Timantii interior products and Siloksan masonry paints. Experts from Teknos will be offering advice as well as providing colour cards, stockist packs and a plentiful supply of goodies, including Teknos Rooster pens.

Teknos invests heavily in research and development with the aim of offering smart, technically-advanced, paint and coating solutions focused on product quality and performance, while remaining committed to sustainability.

Futura Aqua waterborne urethane alkyd based paints are ideal for exterior and interior joinery items and provide varying sheen levels: Futura Aqua 20 semi-matt, Futura Aqua 40 semi-gloss and Futura Aqua 80 gloss. Incredibly durable, the products are suited to professionals requiring a hand applied brush finish that flows easily with few brush marks, as well as application by roller or spray.

The Timantti product family comprises a series of professional grade interior paints for walls and ceilings in dry and humid spaces where good washability and abrasion resistance is required. The range includes semi-matt and semi-gloss finishes with antimicrobial paints and specialist primers for kitchens and bathrooms as well as commercial premises such as schools, hospitals and food processing facilities.

Developed to withstand the harsh Nordic climate, theSiloksan range of durable masonry paints have superb colour retention and a tough moisture-resistant surface to protect substrates from water penetration. In a variety of finishes, they provide options for both refurbishment and new-build applications.

Other products exhibited include Woodex stains and oils, ideal for use on decking, cladding, fences and garden furniture, and Ferrex Aqua for priming and protecting exterior metals.

At the show, Teknos experts will be on hand to talk to professionals and to potential independent stockists about using Teknos paints and their ability to extend maintenance periods.
