Hoppecke appoints two new account managers

As the Brexit debate rumbles on and discussions continue on the future of sustainable energy, Newcastle-under-Lyme's energy management specialist Hoppecke Industrial Batteries has appointed two new account managers to meet the demand for top quality power products backed by the best possible standards of service.

Hoppecke - the leader in industrial battery systems and the largest battery manufacturer in European ownership - is currently celebrating 90 years of successful trading. Business for the UK headquarters has remained strong despite the fluctuating exchange rate of Sterling against the Euro.

The company's two new account managers are Mark Baker and Ashley Shipton.

Based in Herts and covering the London area, Mark has worked in the batteries industry for 22 years, having previously been senior sales manager at a batteries supplier in Bishop's Stortford where he operated in specialist markets for eight years. Ashley worked with Hoppecke before for four years and returns with expertise on the technical side of the industry as well as sales.

Jason Howlett, Hoppecke's Regional Managing Director - Northern Europe, said: "It's pretty impressive to be celebrating 90 years in the energy management industry and we are delighted to mark the occasion with these two absolutely crucial appointments."
