Hi

I hope you have time to read our press release. Let me know if you have any questions or any routes/fares you'd like us to check.

We have also attached a comparison of fares offered by Trainsplit and 'traditional' rail booking sites such as Trainline.

Kind regards

Mike

OUTSMART HIGH RAIL FARES WITH SMARTER ONLINE SITES

There's been a lot of news recently about money being spent on new trains but not so much about the big bugbear rail travellers have, namely the ever increasing price of train tickets.

Independent sites like Raileasy and Trainsplit have been investing too, spending their time and money on new software and devising algorithms that can micro search out lower cost fares which exist but are not usually offered.

You'd pay a hefty £115 this week for a London to Manchester single fare to arrive by 11am with the big guys but the independents could offer a fare of £21 if a traveller made an easy change en route at Stafford. There are plenty of these cost savings available and they can be easily found with a click on an independent's site.

There's a little more time involved with the journey, but the savings can be huge. We've attached some examples of how these new algorithms are uncovering cheaper journey options.
