Intelligent innovations providing quantitative results

Intelligent innovations providing quantitative results.

Hemel Hempstead - Dräger, an international leader in the fields of medical and safety technology, has teamed up with IDMED, a developer of analgesia, neuromuscular transmission and brain status management solutions, to offer UK customers the latest innovations in this area.

Measuring quantitative results in anaesthesia management is fast becoming the standard for caregivers in the operating theatre. Dräger is pleased to offer its customers in the UK some of the latest innovations for measurement of NeuroMuscular, Analgesia and Pupil Dynamics to support this requirement.

ToFscan®NeuroMuscular Transmitter

The ToFscan monitor provides an easy, reliable way to measure the muscle relaxation status of an anaesthetised patient. A range of data points displayed support the anaesthetist in making treatment decisions and adjustments to the patient's neuromuscular blockade. The TOFscan can be used as a stand-alone device, or interfaced with the Dräger Infinity Acute Care System.

AlgiScan®Analgesia Monitor

AlgiScan allows for an objective measurement by using pupillometry technology. The video sensor provides instantaneous, accurate and predictive measurements to monitor the depth of analgesia. The small size of the device means it is suitable for various units of the hospital and not restricted to operating theatres.

NeuroLight Handheld Pupillometer

The NeuroLight offers an optimum measurement of the patient's pupil size and photomotor reflex. Its measurements are fast, precise and can be displayed as a curve enabling swift evaluation of variations and trends. Measuring pupillary reflex and pupil size against a calibrated flash is essential to establishing the patient's neurological status.
