KWB APPOINTED TO MARKET BLACK COUNTRY FORMER POLICE STATION

PRESS RELEASE

25 September 2017

KWB APPOINTED TO MARKET BLACK COUNTRY FORMER POLICE STATION

Birmingham independent commercial property agency KWB has been appointed to market the former Kingswinford Police Station in the Black Country.

Acting on behalf of the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner, KWB’s Martin Cook is marketing the freehold of the detached former police station, with two former semi-detached police houses, garages and portakabin, totalling 4,000 sq ft, as a residential redevelopment opportunity.

Situated in Kingswinford on the A491 Moss Grove close to the junction of the A4101 High Street which links Wolverhampton and Stourbridge, the former police station is classed as sui-generis use in the planning regulations, so purchasers will require planning permission for any other use.

Mr Cook says: “This is the third police station we have brought to the market in 2017 on behalf of West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner with the previous disposals gathering a high level of interest. This property in particular has great potential for redevelopment for residential use, subject to planning permission.  We are seeking offers of over £450,000.”

Further information is available from Martin Cook or Ben Voss-Wood at KWB on tel. 0121 233 2330 or email mcook@kwboffice.com or bvoss-wood@kwboffice.com, or via https://kwboffice.com/property/kingswinford-police-station/

With offices in Birmingham and Solihull, KWB is an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors which offers a comprehensive commercial property service and unrivalled market knowledge across the West Midlands.  KWB has been trading for more than 25 years and its senior management team has in excess of 200 years combined professional experience.
