TotalKare, the UK's number one provider of heavy-duty vehicle lifting solutions, has appointed Ryan Stacey as the company's new dedicated inspection and training engineer.

Ryan Stacey will be solely responsible for Reports of Thorough Examination and will become an additional training person who is capable of delivering TotalKare's popular CPD-approved training programmes.

Before taking up this new post at TotalKare, Ryan was the company's end-of-line tester of major repairs and pre-owned lifts in the Halesowen factory and has been with the company for roughly five years. This not only means that Ryan has in-depth knowledge of all the products he will be working with but his appointment also underlines TotalKare's unshakable commitment to delivering comprehensive training programmes and producing reports of thorough examination as a growing part of the company's service offerings.

Because TotalKare's ‘competency in mobile column lifts' training courses are CPD-certified, anyone taking part can be confident that they will be boosting their career prospects while enhancing their personal skills. The courses cover such key subjects as the safe operation of equipment, pre-use checks, and the very latest updates on such legislation as PUWER and LOLER.

Ryan says: "I'm absolutely delighted to be taking on this new position within TotalKare and I am determined to repay the faith the company has shown in me. Safety and efficiency are vital and Reports of Thorough Examinationand the general training of operatives are becoming increasingly important issues in this sector. I'm looking forward to playing a key role in strengthening TotalKare's service offering."

Technical Director Mick Gilliam adds: "We have always taken training and inspection very seriously within TotalKare but we are determined to go even further in ensuring any company operating our equipment does so in the knowledge that it has been thoroughly examined and tested and that all operatives have had all the necessary training. Ryan's appointment will be a considerable benefit to us in that regard."
