[image]"Reformers Arise! is a clarion calling up - to the whole continent of Africa - and Alero speaks out appropriately as a Mama to the nations. Most of the wisdom in this book is needed far beyond Africa and I strongly recommend it for anyone with a heart for reformation of their nation. This book contains the perfect mix of stories, practical steps, and perhaps most importantly, a prophetic calling up of a people into available destiny. I believe that it is right now Africa's time and day to arise. Africa does not lack for potential and it is now for that potential to be made reality. The continent is full of resources and full of passionate people. This is the beginning of a recipe for glorious success. However, the rest of the recipe ingredients must now be added to the destiny mix and the author does so in a beautiful but direct way. Reformers as defined and explained in this book must - and I believe WILL - now arise all across Africa. It will start with a few uncompromising individuals and then quickly spread like a healing virus across the continent.

Courage will breed courage. Action will breed action. Radical love will breed radical love. This book is representative of the courage, action and radical love that will arise and perhaps it will even be a tipping point for it." --Johnny Enlow, author/speaker/reformer.

Alero Ayida-Otobo has written a rousing book that talks candidly to young people ready to take responsibility and action for the future of their nation. Alero invites the reader to consider: are they, or could they be, Reformers? Do they seek to be more transformational than transactional? Are they looking for change over the long haul, not the short term? Are they waiting to make a change to their nation but don't know if they're best for the job, whether it's the right time, or indeed HOW to go about it?

Reformers Arise!is a manual for people who want to execute on dreams and plans, who want to see big changes in the continent of Africa in their life time.

Reformers Arise!is for people who believe that having a ‘Plan B' is simply a cop-out and that action needs to begin now.

Reformers Arise!is for those who choose to be part of an army of social reformers bound by four key qualities:Character,Competence,Influenceand a strong desire toCollaborate.

Reformers Arise!is a mix of wisdom, stories, practical steps, and a prophetic calling up of a people of dignity to influence and action.

Alero Ayida-Otobo is a Transformation Strategist with invaluable understanding and experience of sector-wide reforms in Africa. Passionate about reforming educational and health systems, and transforming individuals and institutions, Alero'sReformers Arise!encourages the emergence of a new kind of people - The Reformers.

Speaking directly to young people, in their 20s and early 30s,Reformers Arise!is an inspirational, motivational, dynamic, life-changing book informed by Alero's journey, combined with insights into the real-life stories of successful leaders, change-makers and reformers around the world such as Otto Orondaam, founder of Slum2Schools and Oby Ezekweisili (#BringBackOurGirls campaign).

Alero writes with passionate eloquence about Africa's failing educational system requiring a total overhaul, and spotlights pioneering reform activity leading the way to reform such as Fred Swaniker's African Leadership Group, which aims to transform Africa by identifying, developing and connecting three million leaders by 2060.

This book is a manual for developing, refining and releasing the four key qualities that are essential to change the songs of pain and sadness that can still be heard on the continent of Africa. It is about singing new songs of hope and victory. It is time to raise a dignified, undaunted army of social reformers. Who willjoin this army?
