Doping in amateur sport becoming widespread crisis, but there is a natural alternative

A recent report by the BBC found that more than 35% of amateur sports people personally know someone who has willingly chosen to take a banned substance. The UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) described drug-use in sport as "fast becoming a crisis", with almost 50% of people believing that performance enhancers are ‘widespread and easily available' to those who play competitive amateur sport.

Doping in sport isn't a new issue. Doping tests were first introduced in 1966 by the world governing bodies for cycling and football - but it seems the problem is much more widespread than we once thought. Surprisingly, it's not just steroids that people are taking, with prescribed medications and recreational drugs accounting for the largest percentage of drugs that people are taking.

People are risking potential long term damage to their bodies with drugs to enhance their performance. Taking performance-enhancing substances can have massive health impacts, but there is a completely natural alternative to them. Totum Sport is a supplement approved by Informed Sport, which means it has been confirmed free from banned substances and will not cause any athlete in any sport to fail any banned substances tests. It contains 78 electrolytes to improve not only performance and recovery, but your immune system and health too.

Doping is not only cheating in competitive sport, but risks your health too. Of those who had specifically taken anabolic steroids who were interviewed by the BBC, 41% had taken them for performance reasons. This percentage changed when the study was widened to include those who admitted to taking other performance-enhancing substances. With the wider criteria over 50% admitting to taking substances for pain relief and over 40% taking them for injury recovery. Totum Sport can help with all of these problems.

Totum Sport provides the optimal mineralisation for rapid and complete hydration right down to the cellular level. It stabilises blood glucose which pulls oxygen into the cells so muscles have the maximum available energy for strength, stamina and power. By maintaining aerobic capacity as long as possible, muscles are better able to recover ready for the next session with little or no fatigue which minimises injuries. All gain and no pain is now a genuine option to replace the old adage of no pain, no gain.

In the past, many have fallen foul of taking banned substances from a health perspective. These include heart disease, kidney failure, liver disease and can impact on mental health and lead to an early and unpleasant death in some cases.

These banned substances, which people take to ‘improve their physical performance and muscle growth', are filling the body with chemicals, toxins and hormones that our body has not evolved to cope with, and can't. In complete contrast, cellular life evolved within the environment identical to the composition of Totum Sport which is why it delivers improved performance and quicker recovery all the while keeping your body healthy and supporting the immune system but WITHOUT any banned substances.

Looking for the Informed Sport logo guarantees that the supplement has been drug-tested and is safe for any athlete to use in any sport. Totum Sport is approved by Informed Sport. It is the only 100% natural supplement that has only been cold microfiltered to pharmaceutical grade. You can trust that when you take Totum Sport before, during and after exercise or training, you are maximising your natural physiology without it doing any harm.
