East Anglian HR Consultancy provides dedicated help-line to advise Carillionsuppliers.

Norfolk-based People Management and Development Consultancy, Human Capital Department have set up a telephone hotline to support companies affected by the Carillion collapse.

The construction and services giant have 43,000 direct employees, with around half of these in the UK, and an estimated 30,000 small firms in the supply chain who are now owed money. Inevitably these firms must retrench; having to reduce working hours or make layoffs to ensure survival of their businesses.

 Peter Lawrence from Human Capital department commented:

"Our HR hotline advises businesses on all employment matters, including employment law from contractual implications of reduced hours to guiding employers through the redundancy process and handling employee communication. We have had a number of calls from people who are naturally very worried about the future and so, in the absence of government help, we are ready to offer up to a month's support free to help the supply chain through this crisis"
