DoubleTree by Hilton, Swindon is the first hotel in the Swindon area to provide its guests with a Digital Key. In addition, the hotel is amongst one of the few Hilton hotels across the UK to provide this innovative new service.

The Digital Key now gives guests the option to bypass the hotel check-in counter and access their rooms, as well as any other area of the hotel that requires a key. This includes rooms, elevators, side doors and the fitness centre - making any stay at the Hilton DoubleTree Swindon, smooth, swift and hassle-free.

DoubleTree by Hilton Swindon is, once again, delighting and exceeding the expectations of their customers in a tech-led world. This follows last year's extensive refurbishment, which extends from the lobby to the rooms, to hotel's 14Twelve brasserie and meeting spaces. The Digital Key service provides more choice and control over the entire travel experience, providing guests with a seamless and time-saving check-in.

The system is extremely simple and easy to use. All guests need to do is download the free Hilton Honors app; check-in and choose their room; then select 'Digital Key' in the app. Once guests' rooms are ready on the day of arrival, app users receive a push notification on their smartphone that the key has been delivered. The key will then be available in the Hilton Honors app until check out. When guests are within a few feet of a door, all they need to do is push the button for access. Then simply unlock, unpack and unwind with just a tap.

Of course, for security purposes, all guests have to request access by opting into Digital Key services through the Hilton Honors app and make sure they've already used our digital check-in in advance of their stay.
