Jewson awards Norbord with ‘Supplier of the Year' accolade

Norbord Europe Ltdwas presented with the ‘Best Overall Supplier 2017' award by Jewson at Jewson Live in December, the UK's biggest builders' merchant show, "for ensuring the availability of its products across all our branches, despite difficult market conditions".

On receiving the award,Jenny Stainton, Norbord's Saint Gobain Key Account Manager,commented, "We are absolutely delighted to win the Jewson Supplier of the Year. This recognises all of the effort that Norbord Europe Ltd puts into the Jewson account throughout the year and it's great to be recognised".

Norbord faced stiff competition to win the award as there are in total around 600 Jewson suppliers which receive votes from the Jewson network. Jenny went on to say "The award is voted for by the Jewson branch network across the UK, as well as the sales teams, the Category teams and the Jewson Executive team. This tells you that the branches appreciate the service they receive from all of the teams at Norbord - the BDM team and managers, internal customer support based at Head Office at Cowie and logistics to get our products to all of the branches. This is the third time in five years that ‘Supplier of the Year' has been awarded to Norbord and of course we are extremely happy".
