Zombie Apocalypse Imminent? New Guide Contains Everything You Need To Know To Survive

If a zombie apocalypse was to kick off right now would you know what to do?

To celebrate the 100th episode of popular television showThe Walking Dead, which aired in the UK and US this week,Noob Normhave created a complete guide to surviving a zombie apocalypse.

And while it might sound like an early Halloween joke,Noob Normco-founder Grant Draper, who penned the guide, insists they are perfectly serious about zombie apocalypse survival.

"There are actually a number of scientifically plausible ways that a zombie apocalypse could happen. For example toxoplasmosa — a parasite which half the human population of Earth currently has in their system — is able to take over the brains of rats and make them run straight into the path of hungry cats."

Zombies have long been a popular subject for science fiction. And our fascination with the undead shows no sign of slowing down.

Now in its 8th season, AMC'sThe Walking Deadattracted 11.4 million US viewers to Sunday's landmark episode — the show's fourth best debut.

But what if science fiction was to become reality? Grant hopes that by creating the guide, the human race will be able to survive any future zombie uprising.

"It's not going to be much fun. After all, your daily grind will involve fleeing from the reanimated corpses of your dead friends and relatives.  But hopefully our guide will give you a fighting chance."

"Of course one problem is that if the zombie apocalypse does kick off, there's probably not going to be any internet. So you might want to print off the guide and keep it safe somewhere. Be prepared."
