I thought I would drop you a line about our latest mens top for late summer / early autumn.

Inspired by art, design, sport and popular culture, its called SuperCine. Its a mimimal bronze brown design screen printed onto a 100% soft cotton white mens shirt - ideal for early autumn city breaks or casual beach wear.

We love indie movies. SuperCine is our tribute to the 8mm hand-held movie camera. Advances in technology in the 1960s and 70s made them smaller and lighter than their predecessors, but with enough technology to deliver a professional result.

Its size and portability opened up a whole new world of creative possibilities and soon attracted artists and film-makers everywhere, launching the careers of a thousand Tarantinos.

Background

We're a small team, and as designers enjoy looking for a creative way to express ourselves. T-shirts and tops, with their history of youthful, easy-going style are a great way to do that.

Our range is designed in the small county of Rutland and screen printed in Nottingham. We've seen our designs featured in magazines and website in many different countries, and sell shirts to men and women worldwide, with a Scandinavian hotspot.

We chose the name T-lab because the whole project was an experiment, creating a design approach that was different to anything else. Our aim for the future is to create an ever-improving range of designs, all held together by our distinctive approach of lateral thinking and sharp styling.
