Bromsgrove Investment Property Sells 20% Above Asking Price

Worcestershire commercial property consultancy and Chartered Surveyors GJS Dillon has sold a mixed use investment property in Bromsgrove at nearly 20% above the asking price, reflecting the demand for freehold investment property in the county.

After receiving seven final and best offers, acting on behalf of a private client, Charlie Green, commercial negotiator at GJS Dillon, sold the freehold of 1 All Saints Road, Bromsgrove, B61 0AG, a semi-detached, fully-let ground floor retail premises with a self-contained flat over, for £160,000 to a private investor.

The ground floor retail premises is let on a new five year lease to a hairdresser, while the flat is let on a six-month Assured Shorthold Tenancy, producing a combined income of £15,000 per annum.

“The fact that we went to final and best offers and then still received seven bids underlines the continuing appetite for commercial property investments in Bromsgrove and more widely in Worcestershire,” says Mrs Green.

“There really has not been a better time to sell commercial properties.”
