A Stafford-based psychotherapist and yoga teacher is offering local people a free opportunity for personal development to change limiting attitudes and outworn habits.

On Sunday August 13, Sue Tupling is running ‘What the Body Knows', a workshop designed will help people benefit from having more vitality.

Delegates will come away feeling positive about being able to change some of their emotional patterns, for example when they are feeling anxious or depressed.

"Our bodies know more about our past than words can express," explains Sue. "By understanding what our bodies have to teach us we can let go of the past and live a more fulfilling and happy future."

A registered clinical psychotherapist and certified yoga and meditation teacher, Sue will help to increase insight and raise self-awareness during the one-day workshop, which takes place at St Albans House in Stafford.

The workshop is open to anyone aged 18 or over who feels at a turning point in their professional life or in their personal relationships with a partner or child as well as those who simply want something new in their future.

Sue continues: "The full day will feature a combination of theory and exercises drawn from body psychotherapy and yoga. These simple yet powerful practices have proven helpful for many symptoms and patterns including anger issues, persistent headaches, addictive behaviour, anxiety, worry, tension or sleeplessness.

"By learning these simple techniques in a small, safe and supportive group people can begin to overcome past traumas, emotional wounds and losses."

The workshop will run on Sunday August 13 at St Albans House in St Albans Road, Stafford. There is a small charge of £15.00 to meet room hire costs.

If you would like to get involved or find out more about the workshop, please contact Sue Tupling on 074111 78380 or visit www.embodiedcounselling.co.uk for more details.
