TotalKare launches new electro-hydraulic two-post lift at Commercial Vehicle Show

At the Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC, TotalKare - the UK's number one provider of heavy-duty vehicle lifting solutions - will be launching its electro-hydraulic two-post lift with an installation on stand 4E60.

TotalKare has introduced the new lift, which will complement the company's existing products to offer a complete solution for all lifting requirements, to meet the needs of the expanding light commercial market which has seen significant growth in the use of vans used by delivery companies.

This makes the two-post lift, which has a safe working load of 5,500kg, ideal for smaller light commercial workshops and companies that have a mixture of HGVs and van fleets that require regular maintenance and repair work. The new lift is particularly suitable for use on vehicles with a long wheel base, such as the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter or the Volkswagen Crafter.

Features of the electro-hydraulic two-post lift with its baseless frame-free design include non-load bearing cables which ensure even lifting and lowering, individual columns fitted with their own control units and a double S profile which provides the utmost stability and takes up minimal space.

Also, the new lift has a lifting height of 1985mm, a drive-through clearance of 2613mm, a lifting speed of 60 seconds and a range of optional extras for lifting specific makes of commercial vehicle.

Like all mobile column lifts from TotalKare, the two-post unit will be covered by the company's AfterKare packages which include free site surveys, reports of thorough examination using TotalKare's nationwide network of engineers, and training courses covering such subjects as the safe operation of equipment, pre-use checks, and PUWER and LOLER regulations.

Says Technical Director Mick Gilliam: "With more and more parcel delivery companies expanding their fleets of vans the light commercial market is going through a period of significant growth. Our new electro-hydraulic two-post lift will meet the requirements of these businesses, particularly those with vehicles with a long wheel base. Visitors to the Commercial Vehicle Show will be among the first to see this latest addition to the TotalKare portfolio of heavy-duty vehicle lifts."
