Saturday 8 April 2017 10am to 4pm

A free petting zoo and craft activity day start off the Easter Holidays for Middlesbrough kids at the town's Dundas Shopping Centre on Saturday 8 April 2017.

Animal Story's petting zoo will be in the shopping centre with an assortment of cute creatures from baby chicks and ducks to prairie dogs and tortoises. There will be an opportunity for children to hold and stroke the animals.

Also in the mall is a free "Eggstra-special" craft day, with a number of activities including making Easter baskets with chicks, chocolate eggs and scratch magnets.

"We want kids small and large to hop down to the Dundas Shopping Centre for this fun day of crafts and animals," says Dundas Market Manager David Harris. "It's the start of the Easter School Holidays, so we wanted to put on some fun activities.

"While they are in the centre, our visitors can sample some special Easter sweets, treats, breads and cakes from Cooplands, Brickyard Bakery, Auntie Ambas and Jean's Kitchen, as well as taking a look at the Easter bargains on display in Boyes, B&M and all our other retailers."

The Fun Day runs from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 8 April 2017 at Dundas Shopping Centre in the heart of Middlesbrough. Customer car parking is available in the 178-space Dundas Shopping Centre basement car park, accessed off Wilson Street.
