LOCAL WOMAN BRINGS A TOUCH OF CELEBRITY TO STRATFORD

Dame Emma Jane Brown- the former international show jumper who has found fame a second time around as an A list promoter working with the likes of Charlie Sheen, Michael Douglas and Whoopi Goldberg is setting up a ladies club that takes place in the best venues in and around Stratford-upon-Avon while raising money for the Shakespeare Hospice.

Intending to fill a gap in the market for all women who want to make new friends and enjoy different experiences along with a personal desire to showcase her home town of Stratford, Emma is staging a calendar of events that take place at Hall's Croft (thanks to the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust), Warwick Castle and The Arden Hotel.

Her free to join club, will kick off with Ladies Night on Thursday 16thFebruary at 6.15pm at Hall's Croft - the elegant Jacobean home in which Shakespeare's daughter Susanna and her husband, the wealthy physician Dr John Hall once lived.

Emma will personally host a banqueting evening for thirty ladies who will be given a guided tour of Hall's Croft and an exclusive insight into Shakespeare's life and times.  After exploring the beautiful and captivating home, guests will enjoy a delicious meal at the long banqueting table followed by entertainment from singer Andrew James.

The mother of two grown up children said, "I am planning some super events that combine entertainment, self-improvement and good food and wine, all centred around Stratford that are designed to appeal to mums, divorcees, widows, and businesswomen. The events will be unpretentious and good fun."

Dame Emma Jane Brown, voted Female Event Planner of the Year in 2016 and listed in Universal Publishing's Top 200 Influential Professionals 2016 explained, "The Ladies Night at Hall's Croft will give my guests the opportunity to soak up the history of Tudor England and savour the legacy that Shakespeare bestowed upon us. Halls' Croft is part of the fabric of Shakespeare's life in Stratford.  I am extremely fortunate to have access to it for my first event.
