Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil launches limited edition products for summer
The team at Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil have launched two new limited edition flavours in response to customer feedback for seasonal flavours.
The Thixendale, North Yorkshire, business launched the 220ml Lemon and Poppy Seed Dressing and 190g Yorkshire Hollandaise at the Great Yorkshire Show last week.
Of the launches, Marketing Manager Jennie Palmer said: "We're always getting new product ideas from our lovely customers, so it's a joy to be able to launch a couple of the suggestions. It's especially fitting that we should launch them at the Great Yorkshire Show that showcases everything that's great about Yorkshire. In fact the new products were so popular, that we sold out on two out of the three days!
"Yorkshire Hollandaise tops the list of ‘most requested' product and we're really pleased with the product. It's made from ouraward winning cold pressed rapeseed oil and free range Yorkshire eggs. It's a great, classic accompaniment toeggs, fish, seafood or vegetables like fresh, local asparagus.
"The Lemon and Poppy Seed Dressing is a fresh and zingy, fabulously versatile dressing. It's superbdrizzled onto fish, stirred through salads and couscous and used to dress chicken for quick, easy and delicious meals."
Yorkshire Hollandaise retails for £3.50 and the Lemon and Poppy Seed dressing, £4.00.
Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil was established in 2008 by Adam and Jennie Palmer on their family farm in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds. They produce a range of oils, dressing and mayonnaise based on their rapeseed oil that is produced exclusively from home and Yorkshire Wolds grown rape and blended, bottled and labelled on the family farm.
